One of the most versatile items to consider in your interior design effort is wood molding. Not only are there tons of uses for it but there are literally hundreds of different types of molding.
Adding it to your decor also increases the perceived value of the home. Why? Because molding is something that was added purely for esthetics and not as a necessity. Savvy real estate agents know that when a potential buyer spots molding in the home the usually exhibit positive buy signs.

Crown moldings are an inexpensive and fabulous way to dress up a room. And nothing dresses up a room or a cabinet like the presence of crown molding, especially for the price. Why is crown molding an elegant way to dress up a room? Well, for one, it acts like a beautiful frame for a painting. You might have a beautiful piece of art, but how much better does it look in a beautiful and complimentary frame? The same goes for rooms, cabinets, etc. They may be beautiful on their own, but a little crown molding can act as a frame to make them even more eye catching. However, getting the right “frame” or in other words the right crown moldings is important. But do not worry, with such a wide array of profiles available, there’s a crown molding made to fit every space, and just as wide a selection of smaller profiles used on furniture, casework and cabinetry.
